Scottish Highland Games

Arnold Scottish Highland Games debuted in 2013 with a professional competition won by Matt Vincent of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, one of the biggest stars of the sport and the winner of the 2012 Highland Games World Championships.

The 2014 Arnold Scottish Highland Games will feature professional and amateur competitions Sunday, March 2, 2014 in Columbus Commons in downtown Columbus.

The winner of the 2014 Scottish professional Arnold Highland Games competition will qualify for the 2014 World Highland Games Championships.

Dr. Bob Goldman is the main sponsor of the Games of the Scottish Highlands Arnold. He provided the cash prizes who made this whole event, the winner will automatically qualify for the Games of the 2014 World Championship Mountain. Sponsors not only Dr. Arnold Goldman 2014 Scottish Highland Games, has contributed heavily in the past for Arnold Sports Festival events. Bob himself has been an outstanding performer in a wide range of events, and many of his exploits is in the Guinness Book of Records.

Donnie Tyndall, Derek Mason To Speak At Sports Festival

The new Tennessee basketball coach Donnie Tyndall and Vanderbilt football coach Derek Mason are among the speakers at the City of Music Festival at Music City Sports Center on May 31 and June 1. Tyndall speak on the first day (10-10:45 am) and Mason in the second (12:30 to 13:00).

Former NFL quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow, who is now a broadcaster with the new SEC Network, will also be speaking.



Also in the mix is Titans closed Delaney Walker wing, the ESPN analysts Herm Edwards (NFL ) and Trevor MATICH ( college football ), former basketball star Vanderbilt Will Perdue , sports talk radio personality Paul Finebaum and football analyst SEC Nation Joe Tessitore .

Host George Plaster speaker series will begin interviewing Lipscomb athletic director Phillip Hutcheson and basketball coach Casey Alexander , the first day at 9:15 am
Mayor Karl Dean and the Nashville Sounds officials discuss the new First Tennessee Park.

On Saturday from 1-4 pm there will be a meeting for the Nashville Interscholastic League.
